IN PICTURES: Malton's Christmas Market is back - here's a taste of what's going on

Malton’s Christmas Festival is back – bigger and better than ever!

Set in the town’s Market Place, the festive event runs across two days on the first weekend of December (Saturday December 3 and Sunday December 4) – and is free to enter.

Packed full of street food vendors, Christmas gift stalls, live traditional music and entertainment for the family, there’s something for everyone at the Malton Christmas Festival.

Traditional fairground rides will keep the children entertained and there is a festive land train to take you around the Market Place.

Visitors will be ticking off their Christmas shopping lists in no time, thanks to the array of gift stalls, both food-themed and non-foodie, that will be on offer.

Plus, you can enjoy mulled wine, gin, beers, figgy puddings, turkey and goose, as you shop, all while soaking up the atmosphere of Yorkshire’s Food Capital.

Visit https://www.visitmalton.com/malton-christmas-festival for more information on the festival, which is on from 9am to 3.30pm both days.
